Sleep Study

The sleep lab at the Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Clinic (NGDC) performs both day and overnight sleep testing. Our facility blends the latest sleep technology with the comforts of home. In our facility, our professional staff is able to carefully monitor you so that we accurately diagnose your potential sleeping disorder. During a sleep study, we sensor you while you sleep so that we can monitor your brain and muscle activity, eye movements, heart rate and rhythm, dream patterns and breathing. Observing you while you sleep also helps Dr. Head compare the data collected through the sensors with your body activity. Results from your sleep study will help us accurately identify a sleep disorder diagnosis and ultimately treat your disorder effectively. Wesley D. Head, MD, FCCP
