Dr. Burns practiced for
many years with Piedmont Internal Medicine Associates and Piedmont Physicians
Group at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta where he was also Chairman of the Piedmont
Physicians' Group.
While new to the
Gainesville area, Dr. Burns is no stranger to Northeast Georgia. His
grandfather, Dr. J.K. Burns was a physician for many years in Clarkesville, GA.
His uncle and cousin, Dr. J. K. Burns Jr. and Dr. J.K. Burns III, practiced
medicine in Gainesville for many years.
